Animal Medical Centre has cared for Edmonton's pets since 1976, when it began as the Millwoods Animal Clinic. The current hospital on Parsons Road was founded in 1995 by Dr. Peter Claffey and Dr. Benetta Ayvaz-zadeh, with a boarding wing added in 2011. As a certified hospital of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), we hold ourselves to the highest standards of veterinary care, from routine wellness and vaccines to advanced laser and laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, diagnostics and an in-house ICU. And when you travel, our boarding team keeps your pet comfortable and sends you photo updates.

Boarding
Comfort for your pet, peace of mind for you.
Our boarding wing opened in 2011 and was built with pet comfort first. Dogs have their own bright, climate-controlled kennels and a real grass yard. Cats have a dedicated quiet area with a new play structure. Every boarder gets a free exam on arrival and a vet team just down the hall.
